University of Hull EMBA (Executive Master of Business Administration) is an international business studies programme, 100% British, organized in Cluj-Napoca.

The EMBA has a double international accreditation, from AMBA (The Association of MBAs) and from AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).

The studies last for 2 years and are organized in 13 modules. The graduation diploma is international, awarded by University of Hull, higher education institution with almost 90 years of tradition.

At the University of Hull EMBA, curricula, teaching and examination are following the British model, similar to the business schools of the University of Hull in the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Singapore and Bahrain, within 20 years.

University of Hull EMBA was launched in February 2015 in Cluj-Napoca.

The three cohorts we currently run consist of 75 people from top and middle management in companies from various fields: banking and finance, energy, commerce, engineering, technology, IT, auditing, human resources, education, food industry, medicine, etc.

Our EMBA has at its centre a programme with an international dimension, Hull Business School (United Kingdom), as well as the collaboration of the Babeș-Bolyai University and some of the well known companies from Romania.

We want to be an example of cooperation between academia and business.

The principle of the EMBA is “think global, act local”, teaching and networking are modelled on the University of Hull, “Connected Thinking”.

The EMBA Director is Dr. Andrew Taylor, entrepreneur, management consultant, and alumni of the University of Hull.

With nearly 20 years of experience as a consultant in management, he worked in Europe and Canada for Coca-Cola, Deloitte, PwC, Orange, Vodafone, Holcim, etc.

The programme is managed by a non-profit association- Babeş-Bolyai University – Executive Education (UBB-EE).
